STATEMENT |
Welcome to the Pearland Youth Soccer Club website!
Our mission is to provide a challenging and enjoyable soccer experience for all players and
coaches. Our purpose is to promote and advance the game of soccer among our youth by providing
affordable soccer development programs for the youth of Pearland and surrounding communities.
We strive to develop fundamental and advanced technical skills among our players to enable them
to participate at both competitive and recreational levels while instilling sportsmanship, teamwork,
and physical health. As such, we employ experienced coaches and trainers with the utmost respect
for our youth and adherence to ethical and quality standards.

U12 and UP try-outs sessions will be held at Centennial Park.
All players are required to attend at least two of the scheduled
sessions for their age group listed above.

Pearland's own State Bound U11G Select Stars, U11B Cougars, U14G Pride, & U18G
S2 Ravens Select. These four teams will be represetning PYSC and Pearland
in the STYSA Cup State Tournament this weekend.

REFEREE CERTIFICATION CLINICS
Still haven't certified for 2008? Here's your last chance:
Saturday, May 10 at BAYSA offices Upgrade from 09 to 08 for 2008.
Saturday, May 17 at BAYSA office grade 08 recertification.
Go to www.stsr.org to register online and pay your fee(s). You will
not be able to referee this fall without 2008 certification. Fall
clinics are for 2009 certification. |

| MANDATORY COACHES MEETING |
|
Attention Coaches:
Please plan to attend the meeting listed below for your appropriate
age group. These meetings are mandatory so if you are unable to attend,
please send an assistant coach or a parent representative and explain
to
them that you (the coach) are responsible for taking the time to read
thru and understand the information provided at the meeting and
put it into place.
All meetings will be held at J. T. Patton's house (3401 Fox Court Pearland Texas 77581) and will be an hour
or less with food provided.
U11 - U14: Saturday, June 7th - 7:00 PM
U15 - U18: Saturday, June 14th - 7:00 PM

| BRAND NAME CONTEST |
Attention Fall 2007 & Spring 2008 PYSC players:
PYSC is looking to create a "Brand" for our club through a name and\or new
logo. The objective is to create a brand that instills a competitive
soccer club that in time will be recognized through out the local soccer
communities in the Houston area.
The winner receives one (1) year of free soccer club registration with one
(1) season (Fall or Spring) of free training.
There are still a few details to finalize before the contest is officially
in play but for now, turn on your creative minds and see if you
can put your mark on the club!

2008 REGISTRATION |
Fall 2008 Registration is scheduled to begin May 19th. The club is busy finalizing last minute details and should have the registration site ready by then.
Please check the website often for new updates.
All new players must send in a copy of their birth certificate. You may mail it to PYSC,

determine what age bracket your child falls under.
